Frontier Airlines introduced a new program geared towards business travelers called Biz Travel for Less. The program aimed to show businesses that ultra-low-cost airfares and business travel can work together.
This initiative is designed to provide companies with a cost-effective way of reducing business travel expenses while still providing passengers with a comfortable and seamless travel experience, similar to traditional ‘business class’ travel.
The package includes several perks such as a complimentary carry-on bag, premium seat assignment, flexibility with no change or cancellation fees, priority boarding with guaranteed overhead bin space, same-day confirmed flight changes and 10x’ frontier miles’ in Frontier’s loyalty program for every qualifying dollar spent.
“For nearly 30 years, Frontier has made flying easier and more affordable, and we are excited to deliver even more value to business travelers and travel managers with Biz Travel For Less,” said Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle.
“Our new BizFare is perfect for companies looking to improve their bottom line and save money on business travel. In addition, we believe our new network design will provide more destination options as well as additional frequencies on our most popular routes. Travelers will enjoy the extra legroom and comfort of our Premium seating, as well as the newly enhanced FRONTIER Miles frequent flyer program that makes it easy and fast to attain Elite Status.”
Frontier’s BizFares is a unique offering in the low-fare airline industry. They have the potential to be a groundbreaking moment in this sector, as they offer fares for business travelers starting at just $129 for one-way trips on several domestic continental U.S. routes.
If you make a reservation more than seven days before your departure, you can get a refund as long as you make a refund request within 24 hours of your initial booking.
You can access BizFare through global distribution channels (GDS), which travel agencies and corporate clients typically use. Unfortunately, they will not be available to the general public through Frontier’s website.
Frontier is expanding its flight network, announcing 54 new routes last week. This roll-out of new business travel programs appears to be a strategic move to attract more corporate customers.
“We already serve a number of cost-conscious business customers who routinely utilize Frontier for their business travel needs,” said Biffle. “For companies with a strong focus on keeping travel expenses down, our BizFare is going to be a great new option to integrate into their overall corporate travel mix.”
